Home Rescue, Episode 5, Tuesday 4th December 2018, 20.30, RTE ONE
In a home in Kildare, the chaos begins right inside the front door and Róisín arrives with an ambitious plan to solve the family’s two biggest problems.
Step one will be to change the hall from a dumping ground to a welcoming functional space. Step two will be to transform the living room from a no-go area to the ultimate kids’ playroom.
But this is no simple redesign. Heidi – one of Dave and Emily’s daughters – has dyspraxia and Róisín is determined to create a special feature in the playroom to accommodate both Heidi’s creativity and her need for a quiet sensory space.
Even with the kids helping Dad to cull his massive collection of beermats, the clutter buster crew face one of their biggest sorting jobs ever. As Róisín attempts to knock extra jobs out of the builders, Peter faces the challenge of creating an enclosed stage!
