Respected ‘60’s song-writing duo Cook and Greenaway: ‘Teach the World to Sing’, ‘Melting Pot’ etc. appear from a 2004 episode of Coulter and Company.
Local interest comes courtesy of Planxty and Joe Dolan, while a rare Big Tom and Twink duet, from 1982, is sure to intrigue. Also featured is a 1970’s report on the Tulla Ceile band phenomenon, and country music fans will no doubt delight to the disparate sounds of Boxcar Willie and Earl Scruggs.
Cook and Greenaway close the show alongside US song-writing legend John Prine on a Daniel O’Donnell favourite.
