Second Quarter Final – Dublin Docks

Tonight it’s the last quarter-final and the last chance for the coaches to get one of the three remaining places in the semi final.

Having lost her family last week all the pressure is on Derval O’Rourke to get her family the Finnegans from Cork through to the semi final. She knows if the Finnegans go home then her place in Fittest Family 2018 will come to an end too.

As if there wasn’t enough pressure on the Finnegans to fight for their place, they are also competing against their relatives, Anna Geary’s Finnegan Hogans. There are family bragging rights and parish rivalry at play as brother goes against sister and cousins compete against cousins. Who will win the family battle and can they both earn a semi final place?

Davy competes tonight with the Pierse family from Kerry. He has trained them hard during the week and feels they are ready for the battle ahead. While Donncha brings the Lawlors from Limerick to the docks and he has prepared them in his own fun way that only he can.

This week’s quarter-finalists face Hanging Tough and the Arena challenge. The top two families on the leader board after the two challenges will go straight through to the semi finals while the bottom two must compete again in the Eliminator for the final place.

The coaches come into the quarterfinal knowing there is a lot of stake and having prepared their families in their own way. With reputations and bragging rights at stake the coaches and families will stop at nothing to be victorious in this final quarterfinal.
