RTÉ will deliver comprehensive coverage of Budget 2018 on Tuesday 9th October with extensive reporting and analysis across television, radio, online and mobile.
Television coverage of Budget 2019 begins on RTÉ One at 12.40pm as Bryan Dobson and Keelin Shanley present live coverage and analysis of the Budget speech right through the afternoon. There will be reaction from members of the public in Sligo and Dublin, as well as from politicians, representative bodies and organisations across the country via RTÉ ‘s network of regional studios. Nuacht RTÉ will follow directly on RTÉ One at 5.45pm, while live coverage of Dáil Éireann featuring responses from the opposition will continue on RTÉ2 between 2.00pm and 7.00pm
Prime Time will feature a Budget Special at 9.40pm presented by Miriam O’Callaghan and David McCullagh. The programme will be analysing how the budget will affect the money in your pocket and discussing its implications with audience members and politicians
