Live from the Galway Races for the day of the Galway Plate.

Inniu Lá an Phláta ag Rásaí na Gaillimhe i mBaile an Bhriota, agus is é seo an 149ú bliain den rása áirithe sin.  Beidh muid ag craoladh beo ón ráschúrsa inniu agus muid ag coinneáil eolais le héisteoirí ar feadh an tráthnóna.  Beidh Eibhlín Ní Chonghaile sa chathaoir, le tráchtaireacht le Seán Bán Breathnach, nodanna ó na saineolaithe capall Mánus Ó Conghaile agus Cárthach Bán Breathnach, agus beidh Paddy Beag Ó Gríofa thíos ag an bhFáinne agus amach i measc an tslua i gcaitheamh an lae.

Today is the day of the big race, The Galway Plate, and it will be the 149th year for the race to be run.  Tune in today for all the action live from Ballybrit.  Eibhlín Ní Chonghaile will present the programme, with live commentary on the races  by Seán Bán Breathnach, tips from horse-racing experts Mánus Ó Conghaile and Cárthach Bán Breathnach, and Paddy Ó Gríofa will bring us all the news from the Parade Ring, and he will be out and about amongst the crowd too.
