Musician, arranger, composer and multi-instrumentalist Jolyon Jackson left an indelible mark on the Irish musical landscape when he died in 1985 at the age of 37.  He was one of Ireland’s most innovative and experimental musicians.  In his home studio his recordings included a jazz fusion album with his group Supply Demand & Curve as well as the seminal ground breaking album Hidden Ground with Paddy Glackin, which is one of the first examples of mixing electronic sounds with traditional Irish music.  Contributors include Brian Masterson, Sonny Condell, Paul McAteer, Roger Doyle, Paddy Glackin and Terese Le Jeune.

Produced and presented by Peter Curtin.  Made with the support of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland from the TV licence fee.  (First broadcast 2nd June 2017)
