International wedding planner, Peter Kelly aka Franc is back with a second series of Say Yes to the Dress. In the first episode we meet brides from Limerick and Galway and a Mexican bride now living in Ireland.

Series 2

The new ten-part series filmed at Vows bridal, in Blarney Business Park in Cork will feature brides from all over the country.  The cameras will follow the brides through the bridal salon as they try on all the styles, colours and patterns of dresses before they face their families and friends in the hope that they will Say Yes to the Dress.

With over 3,500 dresses from all over the world, waiting for our new group of brides-to-be and their entourages Franc and the team of consultants are eagerly waiting the arrival of their first three brides in the opening episode of the new series of Say Yes to the Dress.

The brides will be greeted by consultants Mary O’Dowling, owner of Vows, Janice O’Leary, Denise O’Riordian and Ciara O’Dowling.  Trying on a wedding dress for the first time can be an a very emotional experience – it can be exciting, nerve wrecking and very emotional – did we say emotional, yes it can be very emotional!

First to meet bridal consultant Denise O’Riordian is 33-year-old Limerick bride Sonya Hassett.  Joining Sonya is her mum, sister, best friend and her 9-year-old son Michael.  Sonya can be both decisive and indecisive when it comes to shopping – she’s just not quite sure what she will be today.  Her sister Zoe and best friend Lorraine have their fingers and toes crossed that she says yes today – Sonya has a long list of what she likes – but will she say yes?

The second bride to meet bridal consultant Janice O’Leary is 35-year-old Siobhan Malone. Originally from Galway, Siobhan now lives in Donegal.  A two-time breast cancer survivor, Siobhan wants to celebrate the woman that she is by finding the wedding dress of her dreams.  She proves a tough customer for Franc and Janice, but they are determined to find Siobhan her wedding gown.

Franc and Denise’s last bridal appointment of the day is with 31-year-old Julia Villalobos from Mexico.  Living in Ireland since 2015 she is surrounded by her friends as they help her search for her wedding dress.   It maybe the middle of the night in Mexico, but Julia’s family are standing by for a Skype call – their opinion is very important so Franc and Denise will need to choose her dresses wisely.
