The name Karin Dreijer may not be the most reconisable on first inspection, but when you learn that she is the driving force behind acts such as The Knife and Fever Ray, you will begging to understand the depth of her talent. The Knife’s 2003 track ‘Heartbeats’ would later be covered by Jose Gonzalez, and become a world-wide hit, and in turn bring a great deal of focus on the Swedish duo.
With the news that her other project Fever Ray has just been announced for this Summer’s Body & Soul festival, what better time to go through some of Dreijer’s best work through both acts in this week’s Back & Forth.
