Paul Herriott presents a concert live from the National Concert Hall, Dublin including Rachmaninoff’s atmospheric Isle of the Dead. Stravinsky’s recently rediscovered Funeral Song composed in memory of his teacher Rimsky-Korsakov and his ballet Petrushka also feature alongside Brett Dean’s Viola Concerto – an exercise in instrumental virtuosity – with the composer as soloist.
