FIFA Club World Cup live on RTÉ Player and RTÉ2 starting tomorrow

The FIFA Club World Cup 2017 kicks-off in the United Arab Emirates tomorrow (Wednesday 6 December) with Al-Jazira of the UAE taking on New Zealand’s Auckland City (5.00pm, RTÉ Player). The winners will take on Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds in the second round on Saturday 9 December at 4.30pm (RTÉ Player). This game will be preceded by the other second round match, Pachuca of Mexico v African Champions League winners Wydad Casablanca of Morocco (1.00pm, RTÉ Player).

RTÉ Player will have live streaming of all eight matches while both RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player will have live coverage of the semi-finals, final and third place game.

Peter Collins will be joined by Richard Dunne and Richie Sadlier for the the first semi-final featuring Gremio of Brazil (RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, 4.35pm, Tuesday 12 December), while Michael O’Neill and Richard Dunne will be alongside Peter for the second semi-final which sees Champions League winners Real Madrid enter the competition (RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, 4.35pm, Wednesday 13 December).

Saturday 16 December sees Peter Collins joined by Michael O’Neill and Richie Sadlier on both RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player for a live double bill beginning at 1.45pm with the third place game kicking-off at 2.00pm and the final at 5.00pm. RTÉ Player will also stream the fifth place game live on Tuesday 12 December (KO 2.00pm)
