We all know what evil looks like but what exactly is it? Is it the potential that exists within every human being to ‘do bad things’ or is it a supernatural force that can possess people and cause them to harm others? Is it both or none of these?
In the second and final programme reporter Mick Peelo examines the Devil from the point of view of religious faiths, academics, psychiatrists and folklorists. Among those he talks to are Peter Stanford author of ‘The Devil A Biography’, Pastor Tundi Adebayo-Oke of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Imam Ibrahim Noonan, Fr Pat Collins CM, Shaunaka Rishi Das Director of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, Rabbi Zalman Lent, Dr Ivor Browne and folklorist Johnny Dillon from UCD.
