Anocht déanfar comh-chraoladh ar an opera, nó ceoldráma, Eithne ar RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltacht agus ar lyric fm beo ón gCeoláras Náisiúnta i mBaile Átha Cliath.  Seo an chéad opera a scríobhadh riamh as Gaeilge, agus tá sé 107 bliain nó mar sin ó bhí sé ar stáitse go deireanach.  Scríobh Robert O’Dwyer Eithne i 1909 agus anocht léireoidh Opera Theatre Company, i gcomhar le Ceolfhoireann Siansa Náisiúnta RTÉ, é.  Beidh an sopráin Orla Boylan sa phríomhról, beidh Gavan Ring i ról Ard Rí na hÉireann, agus beidh an teanór Robin Tritschler i ról Ceart, leannán Eithne.  Is é Fergus Shiel a bheidh mar stiúrthóir ar an gCeolfhoireann.

Tonight the first-ever Irish-language opera Eithne will be broadcast live on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and RTÉ lyric fm from the National Concert Hall in Dublin, presented by the Opera Theatre Company and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.  The opera, written by Robert O’Dwyer im 1909, was last staged in its entirety in 1910.  The production stars soprano Orla Boylan as Eithne, Gavan Ring as the High King of Ireland and Robin Tritschler as Eithne’s lover, Ceart, and is brought to the stage by the Opera Theatre Company and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.
