Actor Robert Sheehan narrates Wilde Stories, a creative re-imagining of Oscar Wilde through the prism of his fairytales The Happy Prince and Other Stories. The series brings together Irish artists and actors to celebrate and explore the work and life of Oscar Wilde and features an interview with Wilde’s grandson Merlin Holland.

In part one, Robert Sheehan reads The Happy Prince, a story of a statue whose leaden heart breaks for the distress of the city he stands above. The series features a new composition for choir and orchestra, A Hidden Delight, by composer Michael Gallen, performed by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and RTÉ Cór na nÓg with conductor Gavin Maloney.
