On Tuesday at 1.05pm Niall Carroll will be live from the National Concert Hall for the RTÉ Concert Orchestra’s Summer Lunchtime concert series. The programme consists of a selection of popular Russian orchestral works from Glinka, Prokofiev, Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov and Kabalevsky’s Violin Concerto with soloist Phoebe White. Phoebe is one of the rising stars of Irish classical performance and was the recipient of the National Concert Hall Young Musician’s Award (2013-2015) and has won numerous competitions including the Noor Musik Solo Violin competition in Estonia. Robert Houlihan conducts.
