On Tuesday at 1.05pm Niall Carroll will be live from the National Concert Hall with the first concert of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Lunchtime concert series. Seán Morgan Rooney, winner of the Brennan Prize at the 2015 Dublin International Piano Competition, makes his RTÉ NSO debut. The programme includes Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Debussy’s Prélude à L’Après-midi d’un faune and Darius Milhaud’s homage to the Bluegrass State, Kentuckiana.
