Heat Hero – Art Mc Ardle

The pitches that usually create the most excitement in the Den occur when an entrepreneur comes in to the Dragons with an invention that provides a simple solution to an everyday problem.  Our first entrepreneur waiting to enter the Den is Art Mc Ardle who believes his product could be the ‘hero’ that the solid fuel home heating world has been waiting for.    Seeking an investment of €60,000 for a 15% will the Dragons agree that Heat Hero is the next big thing in home heating?

Pow Cow – Niall Moloney

With frozen yoghurt muscling into the ice cream market in recent years, our next entrepreneur is a qualified dietitian.  Niall Moloney is seeking €50,000 investment for a 15% share Pow Cow his low calorie; high protein frozen yogurt is the ultimate guilt free treat.

Wash and Learn – Lorraine Duane

Next to face the Dragons is Lorraine Duane a Montessori teacher from Co Kildare.  She is asking the Dragons for €35,000 for a 20% share of her educational product range which centres on the importance of learning for children through everyday experiences and play.

Moran’s Mega Jams – Claire and Kevin Moran

Our final two entrepreneurs into the Den tonight are a husband and wife team Claire and Kevin Moran from Ballinagh, Co Cavan.   Entering the lucrative jam and chutney market 3 years ago, they believe their unusual flavour combinations make them Willie Wonka of the jam market and are asking the Dragons for €40,000 for a 10% of their company.
