On the eve of the Jewish Passover holiday, Pesach, which celebrates an ancient liberation of slaves, students at Stratford National School & College discuss how young people enslaved to social media can benefit from the festival’s message and reconnect with their faith, family and friends.

The Easter Vigil of the Lord’s Resurrection comes from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo with music from the Sligo Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Charles O’Connor. The celebrant is the Most Rev. Kevin Doran, Bishop of Elphin.

Easter Sunday – 16 April  (on RTÉ One) 

10.00 Mass for Easter Sunday

Mass for Easter Sunday morning comes to us from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Sligo, with music from the Sligo Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Charles O’Connor. The celebrant is the Most Rev. Kevin Doran, Bishop of Elphin.

Pope Francis gives his traditional Easter Message “to the city and the world” – with commentary from Fr Thomas McCarthy OP.

11.25 Service For Easter Sunday  (on RTÉ One) 

Revd Andrew Dougherty delivers The Sunday Service with a congregation and Hymns from The Methodist Centenary with Dublin Korean Church, Dublin. Music will be led by Derek Seymour.
