The most romantic restaurant in town throws open its doors once more as hit dating show First Dates Ireland returns to RTÉ2 on Thursday, January 19th.
Following the resounding success of last year’s series, First Dates Ireland is set to be bigger and better with 12 episodes due to air this time round. Which means more cameras, more hopeful singletons and even more access to those intimate, funny, often excruciating blind date moments.
The new series sees the return of Maître D’ extraordinaire Mateo Saina and his trusty colleagues: barman Ethan Miles and waitress Alice Marr – once again playing Cupid as daters meet face-to-face for the first time.
This year viewers can look forward to more fun and frolics from the First Dates restaurant including cousins double dating, more bathroom chats and it wouldn’t be Ireland if we didn’t have a couple of daters that didn’t recognise each other from previous encounters.
In episode twelve Dublin bus driver Niall attempts to pick up vivacious Karen from Lucan and amateur magician Aaron attempts to cast a spell on student Ailbhe.
First Dates Ireland continues on Thursday, 6th April at 9.30pm on RTE2
