The Taste of Success Episode 7 of 8, RTÉ One, Tuesday, December 6th at 8.30pm

Series Three of RTÉ One’s ‘The Taste of Success’ continues and with €100,000 on offer once again, you can expect highs and lows as our contestants go head to head to get their hands on that life changing prize, not to mention the joy at seeing their unique food product on the shelves of 140 Lidl stores nationwide.

It’s the semi-final and ONE of our three remaining contestants will be leaving the competition at this stage – a heartbreaking prospect.

This week the contestants will be VIP guests at a Lidl suppliers facility where they will learn just what they need to do to make their products viable for a huge supermarket chain. There will be compromises to make and decision to take with only the top two dishes making it into the final.

Also this week, Dáithí Ó Sé has an unexpected surprise for the remaining contestants. Not only are they facing the Lidl panel they must also impress a 40 strong focus group who taste for Lidl all the time. Based on their opinions, ONE person WILL be leaving the competition and losing the chance to win €100,000 and the chance to see their product in every Lidl in the country.
