NEW CHILDREN’S ADVENTURE FILM TO SCREEN ON RTE2 THIS HALLOWEEN
Team Spooky return for a new adventure which is set to hit our screens this Halloween on RTÉ2. The TV drama series SPOOKY STAKEOUT, which was the most popular show on the SWIPE TV app in 2015, was recently developed into a feature film by the team at Tailored Films. The film combines content from the TV series with a brand new mystery.
The TV drama series, which debuted on RTÉ2 in 2015, follows four young friends on their adventures to find ghosts, first in an abandoned school, and then in a derelict hotel. Actors Lioyd Hogan (CLEAN BREAK), Zena Donnelly (A CHRISTMAS STAR), Tadhg Moran (CÉAD GRÁ) and Harry Behan (STITCHES, THEY SHOOT PEOPLE) reprise their roles as the fearless ghost hunting team who are hired to solve a mystery in an ancient, haunted castle. The team are surprised to find a common thread behind all three mysteries. Additional guest stars include Lauren Kinsella (YOU’RE UGLY TOO, THEY SHOOT PEOPLE), Katie Weir and Darragh Barron.
SPOOKY STAKEOUT is a production of Tailored Films, the team behind children’s drama series LIFE LESSONS (2013) and TIM’S TACTICAL TIPS (2011). Director Ruth Treacy says ‘’We are really excited for Spooky Stakeout to hit the screens as a feature film. The TV series was really popular with the young audience and we think this will be a big hit with them. There’s a new mystery this time around and viewers will notice some strange links with their past adventures’’.
SPOOKY STAKEOUT will be available to order on DVD from October 4th 2016.
