Thank GAA It’s Friday is back on your screens for another summer packed with GAA goodness.

Episode 12 comes to you on Friday, September 9th on RTÉ 2 at 7pm with All Irelands up for
grabs in Camogie and U21 hurling.

The show’s creators bring you the complete weekly GAA package; containing characters,
games, fascinating stories and communities both at home and abroad.

On Sunday Kilkenny Camogie star Denise Gaule is looking to claim the All Ireland Senior
Camogie title at the fourth attempt. Once again Cork are the team to beat and we are in the
Cat’s camp.

Waterford and Galway both fell short at senior level so now their U21 hurlers are seeking
redemption. Galway Captain Brian Molloy tees off with his Waterford counterpart Patrick
Curran ahead of the Final.

Kildare native Patrick Monahan’s life changed utterly when a car accident left him in a wheelchair. His GAA career ended that day, but he found a new challenge with Paralympics Ireland. We speak to Patrick and his dad, 2005 All Ireland Football Final referee, Mick about moving on and representing Team Ireland in Rio this week.

The 1961 All Ireland Football Final meeting of Down and Offaly witnessed the largest crowd
ever in Croke Park. That year, on the third Sunday in September, over 90,000 people made
their way to the Jones’ Road colosseum. Two former foes, Paddy Doherty of Down and Paddy
McCormack of Offaly, look back on what would prove to be a historic event.

We also get to meet the man behind the mask as we meet GAA Mascot Mark Langtry . When
the championship is in full swing the UCD soccer player and actor transforms into Fionn The
Terrier! Covered in fur in Croker it really can be a dog day afternoon.

So join us on Friday 9th September at 7pm on RTÉ 2 for another action packed show. The
show will be repeated at the weekend before The Sunday Game Live on RTÉ ONE.
