In this new series, Tomás Mac Con Iomaire talks to founders of indigenous Irish food and drink producers. Today, he’ll be speaking to Kevin O’Hara from Independent Brewing, located in An Cheathrú Rua in Co. Galway. The company started out in January 2014, and they have already won several prizes. They also have the distinction of being the only craft brewery in the Connemara Gaeltacht. Kevin O’Hara talks to Tomás Mac Con Iomaire about what inspired him to set up the company, and their progress to date.
