Super Garden the only Irish produced Gardening Series has found a winner to represent the series at Bloom in the Park 2015.

Five budding garden designers were each given five weeks and €5000 to produce a show garden they felt would earn them a place at Bloom.

Over the series Grace McCullen created a woodland retreat, Brian Burke produced an accessible Garden, Suzie Cahn went all organic with a permaculture design, Floris Wagemakers brought a slice of the Mediterranean to Tuam with his holiday garden and Zaneta Olszowy’s first step into the world of garden design resulted in a contemporary entertainment space.

All five designers have their sights firmly set on the prize; to see their garden recreated at Bloom 2015. Taking part in the series gives each designer an opportunity to showcase their talents to the nation but going to Bloom is the ultimate accolade. Each garden designer is working on a real garden – they are given a brief and must design a garden taking into account the home owners’ specifications or special location considerations all for just €5000.

Super Garden at Bloom

Hosted by Marty Whelan and Aine Lawlor, Super Garden at Bloom will broadcast the Judges (Gary Graham, Roisin Lafferty and Paddy Gleeson) final deliberation on all five gardens and will reveal the winning designer.

This year for the first time, we will see how the winner created their garden over just four weeks in Phoenix Park and the winning designer and family will be live in the Super Garden at the end of the show to talk about the incredible experience it’s been.

Viewers at home can get in on the action with a new award; The Viewers Choice allows fans of the show to vote on their favorite garden of the series. Will the audience agree with the Judge’s decision? Will Grace’s Woodland Retreat, Brian’s accessible garden, Suzie’s permaculture design, Floris’ Mediterranean escape or Zaneta’s contemporary entertainment garden win The Viewers Choice?
