This weekend, the Galway rounds of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta will take place in Inis Oírr for the first time ever. Last year’s junior champions, Oileáin Árann, will be competing in the junior competition, and they’ll play Na Piarsaigh in one of the semi-finals on Saturday. An Cheathrú Rua will play Moycullen in the other semi-final. Those two clubs will also be playing each other in the senior competition, and An Spidéal will play Mícheál Breathnach in the other senior match. The finals will be played on Sunday afternoon, and we’ll have live coverage on Spórt an Lae. The finals of the Ladies National Football League will take place in Parnell Park today as well. Cork will face Galway in Division 1, Donegal will play Armagh in Division 2, and Waterford and Sligo will battle it out in Division 3. Tune in for live coverage.
