Philip King, the founder of Other Voices, said
“I am proud that we have got to a 13th series of Other Voices. It has been a huge struggle through the recession and I pay tribute to artists like Hozier who have been loyal supporters to the series because it gave them the start. This series is the strongest so far with Hozier, Damien Rice, again somebody we were involved with very early on, along with Jessie Ware, Young Fathers, Walking On Cars and Ibeyi amongst many others.”
Episode 1 on April 12th will feature music and conversation with Damien Rice, All We Are and Eaves. In The IMRO Other Room is Cloud Castle Lake and from the archives, Anna Calvi.
Other Voices is supported by RTÉ, Fáilte Ireland, the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and IMRO.
