Tomorrow sees Tom joined by Brent Pope, George Hook, Ronan O’Gara and Shane Horgan for live HD coverage as Ireland begin the defence of their title in Rome against Italy (KO 2.30pm). If you are following the game overseas, Michael Corcoran will be joined by Donal Lenihan for live worldwide commentary on RTÉ Radio 1. France v Scotland follows live from Murrayfield on RTÉ2 (KO 5.00pm), again in HD, to round off the first weekend of what promises to be a 6 Nations to remember.
All 15 games in this year’s tournament will be live on RTÉ2 in High Definition.
Complementing the extensive television and radio coverage of the RBS Six Nations tournament, every single match will be streamed live on-line and on-mobile on www.rte.ie/player, and will be available on-demand for seven days afterwards. Each match will be available across five-screens, online, on-mobile, on tablet , on X-Box 360 (on demand only) and on-Connected TV as well as UPC on-demand.
RTÉ’s dedicated Six Nations website www.rte.ie/sixnations will have live blogs, match reports and analysis from every game from the 2015 tournament, alongside data feeds and statistical analysis provided by Opta Stats. Video highlights of the best of the action will be available on every device, with weekly columns from former Irish international Bernard Jackman and Conor O’Shea. RTÉ.ie will have an online reporter at every Irish game, providing reports and features and also supplementing RTÉ’s extensive social media coverage on Twitter (@rterugby), on Facebook (RTÉ Rugby) and on the RTÉ Sport Youtube channel. And each week, selected players and RTÉ analysts will join us to review all the action on our dedicated Rugby Show podcast, available via iTunes and Soundcloud.

In association with the IRFU, all Ireland’s Women’s Six Nations games will be streamed live on the RTÉ website. The events will be simulcast on 2FM and via a live stream on the RTÉ Sport website.
