A chance to hear Hollywood Greats with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and acclaimed composer-conductor Carl Davis. Aedín presents outstanding music from South Pacific, Casablanca, Out of Africa, Chariots of Fire, Bridge on the River Kwai and more. Another great feature in the second half of today’s show, Aedín interviews American actress and singer Elaine Stritch who passed away earlier this year. She spoke to this legendary star of stage and screen in New York in 2007 and was very taken by the star’s honesty, frankness and huge talent.
