Inniu, tabharfaidh muid turas chósta Chiarraí sa tsraith seo faoi chósta na hÉireann. Cloisfimid scéalta faoine óige ar an oileán ó Gearóid Cheaist Ó Catháin, an duine deireanach a rugadh ar an mBlascaod Mór. Labharfaidh Hannah Mae de Brún linn faoin gcomhlacht éisc atá bunaithe aici féin agus a fear Tadhg sa Daingean. Spreagann an fharraige an file Dairena Ní Chinnéide, agus inseoidh sí dúinn faoina hóige ag fás aníos in aice na farraige agus mar a théann an fharraige i bhfeidhm uirthi. Níl ansin ach cuid den méid a bheidh le cloisteáil ar chlár an lae inniu. Maggie Breathnach léiritheoir na sraithe, ó Red Show Productions. Léiríodh an tsraith le tacaíocht ón Scéim Fuaim agus Fís de chuid Údarás Craolacháin na hÉireann.
Today, this series will bring us on a tour of the coast of Kerry. We will hear an interview with Gearóid Cheaist Ó Catháin, the last person to be born on the Great Blasket, who tells us all about his youth growing up on the island. Hannah Mae de Brún talks about the fish company set up by herself and her husband Tadhg in An Daingean. The sea inspires poet Dairena Ní Chinnéide, and she will tell us about growing up by the sea in Corca Dhuibhne and how it influenced her. That’s just some of what can be heard on the show today. Produced by Maggie Breathnach of Red Shoe Productions. Produced with support from the BAI Sound and Vision Scheme.
