Last night’s first 2014 FIFA World Cup semi-final which saw Germany trash hosts Brazil 7-1 was watched by RTÉ Two’s highest audience of the tournament so far with an average of 587,400* people tuning in. This represents a 42.25% share of the available audience.
50% of the available audience of Men 15+ watched on RTÉ Two as Germany booked a place in Sunday’s final while 33% of Women 15+ tuned in.
Meanwhile 100,500 watched RTÉ’s coverage live online and on mobile devices – via rte.ie/worldcup and RTÉ Player.
