Some of the world’s best music played by the world’s finest musicians, familiar favourites and new recordings. This weekend Lorcan’s featured album showcases the talents of cellist Alisa Weilerstein: “Sovereign of the American cello” (New York Magazine) performing Dvorak’s magnificent Cello concerto along with his most lyrical melodies and songs of heart tugging eloquence arranged for cello. Anna Polonsky is pianist with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jiri Belohlavek.
