JAZZ ALLEY

JAZZ ALLEY

The Story of Jazz Part 7. Electricity! We are so used to amplification it’s sobering to think of music without it. The singer and the guitarist only blossomed when electricity made amplification possible. And there was the tricky business of recording, which only came properly alive when electrical equipment replaced wax cylinders. And finally, along came rock and electronics. Story of Jazz follows the progression.
