President Michael D Higgins will be making a historic official visit to the UK this week, the first state visit to the UK by a President of Ireland. Neasa Ní Chualáin will be travelling to the UK to cover the visit for Raidió na Gaeltachta. Today, she will bring us a report from the first day’s events yesterday, and the opinions of the members of the Irish community in the UK on the visit.
