D’fhógair Foras na Gaeilge le déanaí go raibh sé cheanneagraíocht roghnaithe d’earnáil na Gaeilge, agus go dtiocfadh deireadh le maoiniú do na heagraíochtaí eile i mí an Mheithimh.  Léiríodh imní go forleathan nach raibh aon cheann de na ceanneagraíochtaí sin lonnaithe sna Sé Contae, agus go mbeadh droch-thionchar aige seo ar chúrsaí na Gaeilge sa Tuaisceart.  Inniu, craolfar eagrán speisialta de Cormac ag a Cúig beo ó Chultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich i mBéal Feirste, áit a dtabharfar deis do phobal na Gaeilge ó thuaidh ceisteanna a chur faoin leagan amach nua ar earnáil na Gaeilge. Tá cuireadh tugtha do ghach ceann de na sé cheanneagraíocht urlabhraí a chur ar fáil le teacht os comhair an phobail agus ceisteanna a fhreagairt.  Is é Conradh na Gaeilge an chéad eagraíocht atá tar éis glacadh leis an gcuireadh, ach tá súil go mbeidh ionadaithe i láthair ó gach eagraíocht.  Tá fáilte roimh an bpobal freastal ar an ócáid.  Cormac Ó hEadhra a bheidh sa chathaoir.

Foras na Gaeilge recently announced a restructuring of the Irish-language sector, with the appointment of six lead organisations, and accordingly the cessation of funding to many more by June.  There was widespread concern at the fact that none of the six organisations was located in the Six Counties, and that this would be detrimental to the progress of the Irish language north of the border.  Today, Cormac ag a Cúig will be broadcasting live from Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich in Belfast, to give the Irish-language community the opportunity to voice their concerns.  Each of the six lead organisations has been invited to nominate a spokesperson to partake in the programme, and to answer questions from the public.  Conradh na Gaeilge has accepted the invitation, and it is hoped that there will be representatives present from each organisation.  The public is welcome to attend the programme.  Cormac Ó hEadhra will present the programme.
