CELEBRITY MASTERCHEF – EPISODE 3

Sunday 28TH JULY 21:30

Last week, despite their enthusiasm and best efforts at the dinner party, one more celebrity was asked to leave the Celebrity MasterChef kitchen.

In tonight’s episode, having reached the halfway point of the competition the six remaining cooks will receive a Dessert Master Class from world renowned Pastry Chef Claire Clark.

Claire Clark has had a career encompassing time spent at some of the most prestigious restaurants and hotels in the world.  Claire has gained many medals for the British Olympic culinary team and was one of the youngest examiners for City and Guilds Advanced Pastry.  In 2005 Claire gained a place at the legendary French Laundry in California under the watchful eye of Thomas Keller. The French Laundry was the first American restaurant to obtain three Michelin Stars. In recognition of the commitment to her craft Claire was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday honours list: July 2011.

Claire will demonstrate to the cooks, step by step, how to craft her Retro Summer Trifle. Following the demonstration the cooks will have three hours to replicate the complex dessert

The next day the cooks, having taken inspiration from what they learned from Claire, will take a trip down memory lane as they are asked to create a dessert from their childhood that holds fond memories for them .

The cook that fails to impress Nick and Dylan will lose their apron and leave the MasterChef kitchen.

**Please note that the identity of the second celebrity to be evicted won’t be released until Sunday July 21st – hence photos of seven celebrities still remain attached to this press release.
