The Law Makers is a six part series that sees some of the most eminent members of the Irish legal profession reflect on both the personal contribution they have made to their profession and some of the landmark cases in which they have been involved.

This series will provide a fascinating and illuminating insight into a profession which is rarely put under the spotlight, but which has such a far-reaching impact on all of our lives.

Each of our six interviewees have played a significant role in variously drafting, challenging and changing Irish legislation. Episode two sees presenter Peter Ward, who is himself a Senior Counsel and the chairperson of the voluntary organisation, FLAC (Free Legal Advice Centres), interview former Attorney General, John Rogers.

The Law Makers is produced by award-winning producer Fiona Kelly, who has produced more than a dozen series and documentaries for RTÉ Radio 1 including the six part series “Families of the 21st Century” which was short-listed for the Celtic Media Awards 2012 and the Documentary on One, “My Bar Mitzvah in the Holy Land” which was awarded a certificate at the New York Festivals 2012.

This first episode sees presenter Peter Ward interview former Attorney General, John Rogers.
