Tuesday: Take out the berets this morning as we celebrate the birth of French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, born on this date in 1835, and we’ll also have music from Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. Have the pens at the ready for the Ireland Blue Book competition on the show all this week.
Wednesday: On the breakfast menu this morning there’s a tribute to Dame Joan Sutherland on the second anniversary of her death and a chorus or two from Verdi who was born on this date in 1813.
Thursday: Join Marty in the Dundrum Town Centre for the usual fun and frolics as Finghin Collins plays Mozart, Tony Bennett duets with Andrea Bocelli and Edith Piaf has No Regrets.
Friday: Music green in hue this morning as we pay birthday wishes to Vaughan Williams and also the music of Rachel Portman from the soundtrack to the film ‘One Day’.
