Last week the second series of LOVE/HATE secured 10 IFTA nominations (www.iftas.ie/nominees) and won a viewer nominated Entertainment.ie Eric Award (entertainment.ie/TheErics2011) for Best Irish TV show.

The first series also achieved the top slot in the Irish DVD sales chart. RTÉ Drama is delighted that the series continues to attract such interest and recognition and is happy to confirm that LOVE/HATE has now been commissioned for a third series, due to go into production in March.

RTÉ strives to bring viewers the best of new and established creative talent and the previous two series of Stuart Carolan’s LOVE/HATE were hugely successful in showcasing some of our finest acting, directing and production talent.

We are delighted to commission the third series and feel confident that the loyalty and appreciation showed by fans of the series to date, will be justly rewarded.
