Joe Duffy versus Gerald Kean

This Christmas ‘The Restaurant’ is delighted to welcome back two chefs for this very special festive ‘Cook Off.’ Two four star chefs have been invited back to go head to head in the kitchen. This culinary cook off is fought over 3 courses and at the end of the meal, the critics will vote for their favourite dishes. Both 4 star chefs have proven they can cook impressive and original food under pressure, but there will be no stars at the end of this day in the kitchen – for the cook off, there will be just one winner.

Going head to head in the kitchen is broadcaster and presenter of RTÉ’s ‘Liveline,’ Joe Duffy and one of Ireland’s top solicitors, Gerald Kean.

Joining regular critics Tom Doorley and Paolo Tullio at the critic’s table to judge the winner of the cook off is Chef and proprietor of Il Primo Italian restaurant, Anita Thoma.
