The Irish Museum of Modern Art will be 20 years old next May and, in advance of this significant date, IMMA is organizing a series of exhibitions, significant publications and one-off events and performances from October 2010 to October 2011. ‘The Moderns’, a multi-disciplinary exploration of the arts in Ireland from the 1900s to the 1970s, is the inaugural event covering the span of what is widely referred to as Modernity in the visual arts, architecture, literature, film, design and music.
Nova meets guest curator Christina Kennedy and gives listeners a flavour of what they can expect to see and hear.
Presented by Bernard Clarke.
