Saccade are a four piece indie-pop rock band hailing from the north side of Dublin. Having already enjoyed high profile support slots with bands such as The Coronas, Delorentos, The Flaws, and Ham Sandwich over the last 6 months, they have been steadily making a name for themselves on the live circuit.

Saccade also featured on the TG4 TV show Deis Roc, getting as far as the semi finals, and impressing each of the judges, with Horslips member Jim Lockhart declaring them, “the best band in the competition”. Their double A side single Courtesy Class/Stupefy in September 2008 received ecstatic reviews from Hot Press Alumni Jackie Hayden and another top 5 placing on download music.ie.

Saccade also feature on the CEOL 09 CD alongside The Swell Season, Duke Special and Cathy Davey. Their song Useless/ Oinseach was selected and the album currently lies in the Irish top 10. Having spent the prior 6 – 12 months writing and recording their debut album the boys released, Last Tango on the 6 November 2009. The track featured heavily on RTÉ 2fm and nationwide playlists.
