Den Tots from 9am on The Den

They can curl up, purr and be family pets. They can miaow and roar. What are they? Cats – of course! Join Emma and Soky in Den Tots on RTÉ Two this week for lions, tigers, cats and kittens. And there’s a visit from another “Kat” – Kathryn from Kazoo who drops in to pick out the Hi5 competition winners. Check out the all new www.rte.ie/dentots website with lots of games and activities.

Cats
With bright green eyes and hair so smooth
Cats’ long tails tell us their mood,
Whiskers help them sense their way
With balls of wool they love to play.

Cats can balance in a tree
And have a big cat family,
There’s tigers, leopards, panthers too,
Or little kittens just for you.

Cats can be so curious
And make great pets for all of us,
“Meow” is what they like to say
So let’s meet them on Den Tots today.
