When Gerry Duignan and Lorraine Keogh decided to enlist Franc’s services for their 2006 wedding in Kinnity Castle, they set him a near-impossible task: to give the reception all of the trappings and feel of the dining hall in Harry Potter’s boarding school. What he came up with was one of the most memorable Brides of Franc episodes, filled with the magic of Hogwarts School.
Gerry and Lorraine, who both work in the bank, have expanded their family in the three years since Franc last saw them. Son TJ, who was just an infant at the time of the wedding, has been joined by baby Grace, and has become a whizz in the kitchen!
Catching up with the couple at their home in Donapatrick, Co. Meath, Franc enlists TJ’s help in preparing a special birthday tea-party for Lorraine. Over a meal that’s both savoury and – thanks to TJ – very sweet, Franc reminisces about the Big Day as the couple look at their wedding video for the first time in three years.
