DEN TOTS | MON FEB 2nd to FRI FEB 6th from 9:00am on RTÉ TWO
Helicopters, conkers and acorns . . . which trees do they come from? Emma and Soky become tree detectives this week on Den Tots from 9am!
Why do we have trees, what do they do, why don’t they fall over in the wind, how do they help us? We love to climb them, swing from them, chase round them and make things from them. Even dead trees are needed, by bugs and creepy crawlies.
So join Emma and Soky in the Den Tots tree house and help them poke around in, under and up a tree. And for lots of great colouring fun go to the Den Tots website at www.rte.ie/dentots.
Emma’s Trees Poem
Standing in the garden tall
With leaves so green and bright,
That change to yellow, red and brown
When the time is right.
Some have spiky spindles too
That stay green all year through,
Trees can be so different
Just like me and you.
So gather all its treasure
That falls from way up high,
Join Emma and Soky and their tree
So tall, it tips the sky.
