On the show this week Lucy will be chatting to Aussie Soap legend Jason Donovan and Fair City starlet Ceclia Murphy; Panelists Paddy Courtney, Anne Gildea and Garoid Farrelly will be talking to Lucy about their favourite stories of the week, and Lucy will be donning her Amy Winehouse wig for some more comedy sketches.

Background:

Following on from three very successful years with ‘The Podge and Rodge Show’ and two very successful series of ‘Livin’ with Lucy’ Lucy Kennedy returns with her own late night chat show.

The show will be a mix of lively chat, celebrity gossip and comedy.
As Lucy’s unique brand of good-natured nosiness will be unleashed on two celebrity guests each week.

Every good chat show host these days has a house band and Lucy is no exception. Lucy, however is ‘keeping it in the family’ by roping her dad, pianist John Kennedy into studio each week.

This is not John’s first brush with fame! He is actually the composer of Ireland’s entry to the 1968 Eurovision song contest. Remember, this is back in the day when we actually cared about the competition. The song ‘Chance of a Lifetime’ was voted fourth that year narrowly missing out to Spain’s unforgettable ‘La La La’, and the Cliff Richard classic ‘ Congratulations’ which ironically came second.

‘The Lucy Kennedy Show’ will run for five weeks from Tuesday 6th of January
