Filmed on location at the historic Castle Leslie in Co Monaghan, A Christmas Celebration with Eimear Quinn is a stunning showcase of hymns and carols, performed by world-renowned Irish singer Eimear Quinn. A host of master-musicians including Donal Lunny and Mairtin O’Connor, join with Eimear and choir in an uplifting recital of Christmas songs including O Come O Come Emmanuel, Silent Night, Coventry Carol and O Holy Night.

Often described as having ‘the voice of an angel’, Eimear joined her first choir at the tender age of four. In 1995 she began performing with Celtic chamber choir Anúna. However, Eimear became a household name in 1996, when her performance of Brendan Graham’s ‘The Voice’ was the winning song at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her haunting, ethereal vocals have inspired standing ovations at theatres and venues across the world. Eimear has recorded a number of best selling albums and performed and collaborated with some of the world’s finest writers, musicians and singers including Sir George Martin, Sarah Class, Carlos Núñez, Liam Lawton and Pól Brennan.

A Christmas Celebration with Eimear Quinn is a South Wind Blows production for RTÉ, directed by Philip King and produced by Suzanne Doyle.
