10 OUT 10 FOR RTÉ RADIO

JNLR figures released today see RTÉ Radio taking over the Top 10 again for the first time since early 2006. The figures also show that RTÉ Radio 1, PPI Station of the Year, has grown substantially over the past year with an average weekday audience of 817,000, up 24,000.

Managing Director of RTÉ Radio, Adrian Moynes says;

“Once again RTÉ Radio outperforms the competition in all the primetime slots. This is the fifth report in a row confirming that our schedules are delivering for our audience. I congratulate the broadcasters and programme makers who achieve these results time after time.”

RTÉ Radio 1:

The Marian Finucane Show up 57,000 to 347,000 on Saturday and up 58,000 to 281,000 listeners on Sundays.
The Mooney Show up 33,000 to 193,000 listeners
Liveline with Joe Duffy up 28,000 listeners to 378,000
News at One is up 27,000 to 322,000 listeners
Drivetime with Mary Wilson up 23,000 to 229,000 listeners
Today with Pat Kenny up 14,000 to 293,000 listeners
Morning Ireland up 10,000 to 436,000 listeners
The Tubridy Show up 5,000 to 316,000 listeners
Conversations with Eamon Dunphy up 12,000 to 251,000
Ronan Collins up 19,000 to 196,000

RTÉ 2fm:

Colm & Jim Jim’s Breakfast Show up 18,000 to 197,000
The Gerry Ryan Show remains the top programme in the country among 20 – 44 year olds

RTÉ lyric fm:

Drivetime Classics is up 11,000 to 53,000 listeners
