Episode 180
Sunday 9th November
After last night’s drama Tracey has stayed in Carol’s and Kylie has slept on the couch at home. Dominic gives Kylie an ultimatum to move home or move out. Later Tracey calls around and Dominic apologises and admits he’s struggling to control his anger. He asks for a second chance and Tracey reluctantly agrees, but it’s obvious when Carol calls around later that an artificial harmony is reigning in the Kavanagh house.

Troy tells Dean and Leo what happened with Kylie and they press him to stop deceiving her and tell her the truth. When Troy admits to her he’s gay she’s devastated.

Orla demands a meeting with McAleer to discuss her case but he uses the meeting to suggest they get back together. Orla tells him there is nothing between them any more.

Barry tells Charlie there’s no research job on the paper. He implies that Charlie took him up wrong but Jo reminds him that she witnessed his original offer and makes it clear what she thinks of him.

Keith decides that Yvonne’s plan to evict them is bargaining ploy for more money and offers extra rent for the flat, but is roundly rejected. Bela finds out what Yvonne has done and apologises to Keith and Una.

Yvonne orders Dean to make the menu more upmarket but he warns her that it’s a mistake – and he’s proved right.

Episode 181
Tuesday 10th November
Tracey tells Carol she’s not sure what to do about her marriage – she doesn’t want to walk away but she can’t forget what Dominic said. Carol suggests she write down her problem in a letter and be an agony aunt to herself.

Dominic refuses to do extra work for Damien without being paid. When McAleer tells Damien he’ll have to trim his crew, after Dominic’s lack of cooperation it’s an obvious choice who will be let go.

There’s tension when Niamh wants to keep her relationship with Paul secret but he wants to go public.

Leo’s sick of Troy leeching off him and tells him to get a job. Steve is also getting tired of always having to foot the bill. Under pressure from Kylie Troy asks Steve to stay late tomorrow morning but is secretly apprehensive.

Duncan starts on a trial work placement at the newspaper and it doesn’t take long for the battle lines to be drawn between him and Sarah.

Episode 182
Wednesday 11th November
Breakfast at Dowling’s is awkward when Leo meets Troy’s boyfriend for the first time. Leo is furious when Troy lets him down because he thinks he’s too good to work at Acorn Cabs.

Kylie tells Dominic that Tracey’s worried about money, but Tracey is more worried about her relationship with Dominic. She starts to write the letter to herself.

Damien informs Dominic that he won’t be needed for the job, Dominic loses his temper and lunges at Damien, who pays him off on the spot and tells him not to come back.

Paul demands that Niamh tells Gina the double wedding is not a runner.

The war of attrition between Duncan and Sarah continues at the newspaper.

Episode 183
Thursday 12th November
Now that Damien’s fired him, Dominic is desperate to find work but there’s none to be had. That night when Tracey and Kylie have gone to bed Dominic comes across Tracey’s letter on the computer. As he reads it his face darkens with rage.

Gina stuns Niamh and Paul when she tells them they don’t have a waiting period for a convalidation, so the double wedding is back on. But it’s obvious from their reaction that the waiting period was just an excuse and Gina is hurt.

Leo hassles Troy to get a job but Troy turns up his nose at every job he’s offered. Even Kylie is frustrated by his attitude. Steve and Leo find they have a love of music in common.

Duncan gets himself into hot water at the newspaper when he takes the entire petty cash float to buy a camera.
