This Saturday the Electric Disco comes live from Horan’s in Tralee as Jenny previews DJ Sander Van Doorn’s show later that night. As always there will be plenty of classic dance tunes and a guest DJ mix.

11pm: THE SESSIONS TOUR LIVE WITH JENNY GREENE AND SANDER VAN DOORN
Jenny warms up the regulars in Horans before the new kid on the Dutch Dance block takes over. Recognised as one of the world’s best DJs, Sander is listed in DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs. Debuting at number 32 in 2006, he has quickly risen up the list to his current position at number 15.
The first big achievement in his career was securing residencies at Judgement Sunday in Ibiza and at the Gallery in London. More recently he has played the RTÉ 2fm Summer and Winter Sessions as well as all over the rest of world. In June 2007 he presented one of Eddie Halliwell’s shows on BBC Radio One, where he also played an essential mix in June 2006. The same month he won ‘Best New Producer’ at the Trance Awards. Sander’s has remixed material for the likes of Robbie Rivera, Matt Darey, Randy Katana, Mode Hookers (Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso), Blank & Jones, TDR, Armin van Buuren.

5am: ZX SPECTRUM ORCHESTRA LIVE AT SONAR 08
Using only vintage spectrum computers they produce an astonishing range of sounds. The ZX Spectrum was one of the first affordable personal computers and was used for the early computer based recordings in the 80’s. Their unique geek chic continues with a anthemic nerdcore single – Dollar Power and the the long awaited album – Basic Programming from which the single is taken.

The full show is also live on radio stations all over Europe and of course RTÉ 2fm has the show for Ireland.
