Episode 104
Sunday June 29th
Heather tries to see Eleanor but Brendan won’t let her and demands her keys to the apartment. She and Floyd plead with Renee to help but she refuses.
Bob persuades Renee to move back into McCoys as Floyd is no longer living at home.
Ray and Gina help Niamh move her stuff into the new office. Leo joins her for lunch to celebrate.
Leo lets it slips to Mags about the betting on the chess game; she’s furious and goes to take TJ home just as the game is about to finish. Charlie tells TJ the winning move and Bela argues that the game doesn’t count because Charlie helped TJ. A massive row ensues.
Episode 105
Tuesday 1st July 2008
Carol tells Rory she is going to buy a villa in Sardinia after they had a holiday there.
Ray tries to avoid his ex-wife Angela who is chasing him for his share of the mortgage, which he can’t afford to pay. He asks Keith to split his hours with him but Keith refuses. Angela tells him Ray he should take the job doing deliveries for The Bistro
Rachel suggests to Bela that she could beat TJ in chess and makes him promise to buy her an i-touch if she does.
Renee tries to stop Christy visiting Floyd as she thinks it shows that they accept his relationship with Heather.
Rory returns Orla and Niamh’s stolen laptops. Both girls are delighted and flirt with him. Later they run into Rory in McCoys and Orla buys him a drink to say thank you while Rory and Niamh get friendly.
Brendan is furious when he sees Floyd in the street looking after Eleanor with Heather.
Ray invites Sarah to take his place in the poker game much to Keith’s annoyance. He later lies to Una and tells her it’s a boy’s only night so she can’t come.
Episode 106
Wednesday 2nd July 2008
Ray takes the job doing deliveries for The Bistro but is not happy when Keith slags him about driving around on a scooter.
Rachel suggests to TJ that he let her win the chess game so she can get the i-touch and she’ll share it with him.
Leo arranges to have a drink with Niamh to discuss business but Orla teases her about it being a date. That night she questions Leo if they are on a date and is really embarrassed when he denies it.
Ray tells Una that Sarah will be at the poker game and she gets angry at Keith. Sarah cleans up at the game until it’s just her and Keith left so she challenges him to a game of strip poker. Ray arrives home and sees Keith in his boxers and wrongly assumes that he has cheated on Una.
Rory tells Carol he can’t get involved in buying the villa with her because as a Garda he shouldn’t be seen living off ill-gotten gains.
Renee tells Floyd that Eleanor shouldn’t be living with them and tries to make him feel guilty about her being around when he gets really sick.
Bob invites Floyd and Heather to the pub for a drink to try and smooth everything over for Renee’s sake. They turn up and have drinks with Bob, Renee and Christy but half way through the evening Floyd loses the feeling in his legs and can’t walk so Christy has to carry him out pretending to everyone that he is drunk.
Episode 107
Thursday 3rd July 2008
Renee refuses to let Heather see Floyd after he stays the night with them.
Keith tries to explain to Ray about the game of strip poker but he doesn’t believe him. Keith offers to split his hours with Ray to try and bribe him not to tell Una but Ray refuses. Later they have a big fight and Ray tells him to move out.
Rory bumps into Niamh in Rainbows and they flirt a little with each other.
Brendan tells Christy that Floyd’s condition is going to start getting worse.
Heather persuades Christy to let her see Floyd. Floyd tells her it’s best if he stays with his parents and she can come and visit him, Heather is devastated.
Carol gets a call from the estate agent telling her they haven’t received her money for the villa and she assures them it must be a bank error and will get the deposit.
Rachel and TJ play a chess match. TJ is just about to win when he decides to throw the match to stop Charlie hassling him about being a chess genius.
Renee moves back into Phelan’s leaving an unhappy Bob alone in McCoys.
