EURO 2008 – SAT 7th JUNE AT 4.00PM ON RTÉ TWO

The tournament kicks off with the Group A clash of Switzerland and Czech Republic in Basel at 5.00pm. Bill O’Herlihy is joined by Eamon Dunphy, and John Giles with commentary by Darragh Maloney and Trevor Steven. This will then be followed by another Group A live clash when Portugal V Sweden in Geneva at 7.45pm. Commentary by George Hamilton and Ray Houghton.

THE SUNDAY GAME LIVE – SUN 8th JUNE AT 1.50PM ON RTÉ TWO

Michael Lyster is joined by Cyril Farrell and Anthony Daly live from Pairc Ui Chaoimh as Cork take on Tipperary in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship. The match throws in at 2.15pm with commentary by Marty Morrissey and Michael Duignan.

 

EURO 2008 – SUN 8th JUNE AT 4.30PM ON RTÉ TWO

The second day of the Euro 2008 Championships sees the Group B action begin as Austria take on Croatia at 5.00pm and Germany face Poland at 7.45pm. Bill O’Herlihy will be joined by Liam Brady, Graeme Souness and Ronnie Whelan to discuss the day’s action. Commentary by Stephen Alkin, Kenny Cunningham, Darragh Maloney and Trevor Steven.

 

THE SUNDAY GAME – SUN 8th JUNE AT 10.05PM ON RTÉ TWO

Pat Spillane with Joanne Cantwell will be joined by a panel for reviews and analysis of the weekend’s GAA action including highlights from Tyrone v Down, Louth v Dublin and Kerry v Clare. Declan Ruth, Davy Fitzgerald and Peter Finnerty will examine the day’s hurling action while Anthony Tohill, Kevin McStay and Bernard Flynn will offer their expert opinions on the provincial Football Championships. 

 

EURO 2008 – MON 9th JUNE AT 4.30PM ON RTÉ TWO

John Giles, Eamon Dunphy and Liam Brady will join Bill O’Herlihy in studio for the day’s double header as Romania take on France at 5.00pm in Zurich. Commentary by Jimmy Magee and Mark Kinsella. This will be followed by Netherlands v Italy from Berne. George Hamilton and Ray Houghton will provide the commentary as the match kicks off at 7.45pm

 

MNS – MON 9th JUNE AT 00.05PM ON RTÉ TWO

Con Murphy will be joined by Damian Richardson for highlights from the top games in the FAI Ford Cup 3rd Round. This week MNS introduces a brand new feature profiling up-and-coming players in the eircom League beginning with Seamus Coleman of Sligo Rovers. The programme will also feature the result of the May Goal of the Month Competition.

 

EURO 2008 – TUES 10th JUNE AT 4.30PM ON RTÉ TWO

Peter Collins is joined by Graeme Souness, John Giles and Ronnie Whelan for the opening action in Group D. The first match of the day sees Spain face Russia at 5.00pm from Innsbruck with commentary by Stephen Alkin and Kenny Cunningham. At 7.45pm Greece take on Sweden in Salzburg as Darragh Maloney and Trevor Steven provide the commentary.

 

EURO 2008 – WED 11th JUNE AT 4.30PM ON RTÉ TWO

Eamon Dunphy, Graeme Souness and Ronnie Whelan join Peter Collins in studio for action from Group A. The Czech Republic take on Portugal in Geneva at 5.00pm with commentary by Jimmy Magee and Mark Kinsella. This will be followed by the clash of Switzerland v Turkey at 7.45pm with commentary by George Hamilton and Ray Houghton from Basel.

 

EURO 2008 – THURS 12th JUNE AT 4.30PM ON RTÉ TWO

Bill O’Herlihy will be joined by Eamon Dunphy, John Giles and Ronnie Whelan for the day’s action from the Euro 2008 Championships. The Group B double header starts with Croatia v Germany at 5.00pm from Klagenfurt followed by Austria v Poland at 7.45pm from Vienna.
